Equipment Protection During The Chinese New Year Holiday

Please take the following protective measures for laser equipment during the Chinese New Year holiday

    Antifreeze:

During the Chinese New Year holiday, please be sure to drain the cooling water of the laser and water cooler to prevent the cooling water from freezing and damaging the equipment when not in operation. Most antifreeze contains corrosive components and it is not recommended to store it in the equipment for a long time.

Drainage Method:
Step 1: Open the drain port of the water cooler first and drain the water inside.
Step 2: Unplug the laser water inlet pipe (thick pipe) and the gun head water inlet pipe (thin pipe) on the water pump side of the water cooler, and blow air or other dry inert gas (argon, nitrogen, etc.) from the water inlet for 5-10 minutes until there is no obvious water stain in the water pipe or no water flows out of the water cooler drain port.
Step 3: Finally, reconnect the water pipe, close the water cooler drain port, and the drainage is completed.
Before operation, add pure water or deionized water to the water tank of the water cooler (add an appropriate amount of antifreeze below 0°C, and refer to the equipment manual for the ratio of antifreeze to water). When the water level in the water tank is kept in the green safety zone, let the equipment run for a few minutes after emptying, and then it can be used normally.

  Protection:

Clean the dust and debris inside and outside the laser equipment, and cover it with a dust cover; take moisture-proof and rat-proof measures for the exposed external lines; if connected to external gas (compressed air, nitrogen, etc.), close the gas valve; turn off the power switch of the equipment, the voltage regulator, and the main power in turn.
